New To Blogging? Watch This Video!
If you are not sure what a blog is or how it works, the video called Blogs in Plain English will help. This video explains why blogs are such a "big deal." To view the video, just click on the large arrow in the middle of the video window below.
Whole-House Surge Protection
It's important to protect all your electronic devices, not just computers, from surges. Printers, televisions, appliances and computer peripherals all require protection. However, it can be inconvenient to use individual surge protectors on all devices that need protection. One solution is to install a whole-house surge protector as shown in this photo. The device is installed by an electrician and is attached to your circuit breaker panel. Whole-house surge protectors function like other surge protection devices, but they protect all electrical devices in the house at once. The typical cost of $200 to $300 (installed) is generally less than buying individual surge protectors for every electrical device in your home.

Discussion Question #1
I believe that the pros of blogging outweigh the cons. One said con of blogging is unreliable information. I mean, you have this flood of information out there on practically anything you can think of available on different blogs, and sure, you are bound to run into some that is false and misleading; but this does not only apply to blogs. False, misleading information can also be in the news and the newspaper, though one could argue that this occurs more with blogs. Either way, it is our responsibility to do whatever research is needed to be sure that the information we get from blogs is credible or not. Then, there are cons concerning time and dedication needed to put into a blog which can pretty much be applied to anything really. I need to be aware of the time and dedication needed for this class and being in school period. So, even though we are bound to run into blogs with false information, or even if time and dedication is needed to keep a blog up to date, with all the pros of blogging (keeping family and friends updated, expressing yourself to a large audience, sharing information, ideas and opinions, etc.), I believe blogging cons are heavily outweighed.
I'm... blogging?! o.O
Ni hao :3 So, this is my first blog ever... After aaall this time of internet fun, why am I making a blog now? Because, I am currently in a class that is requiring me to do so. Big question is...will I continue blogging here after the class is over? DUN DUN DUUUUUUN! o.o Haha, I guess we'll see ~_^
